But which one is right for you? Let’s take a closer look! In this comparison, I’ll explain the key differences between Dubsado and HoneyBook, so you can decide and find the perfect fit for your unique business needs. So, let’s dive in and discover which platform will help you shine!

Main Differences Between Dubsado and HoneyBook

Dubsado and HoneyBook’s main difference is their specific features and pricing structures. What I like about Dubsado is that it has more features, making it more sustainable for growth. You may not need all of its features when you’re just starting out. But once your business has grown, you won’t have to change platforms.

On the other hand, HoneyBook has a simpler interface and includes features such as a project pipeline and a booking calendar, making it a good option for smaller businesses.

Regarding pricing, both platforms offer similar plans with monthly or yearly subscription options. Dubsado’s plans start at $20/month, while HoneyBook’s plans start at $8/month. HoneyBook’s pricing is based on the number of team members. Alternatively, Dubsado allows three clients for the free accounts. But once you get the paid one, you can add as many clients as you want.

Dubsado Forms vs. HoneyBook Smart Files

Four professionals discussing the perks of Dubsado forms versus HoneyBook Smart Files

Dubsado Forms and HoneyBook Smart Files are both powerful tools for upscaling your business operations and delivering a seamless client experience. However, there’s no contest when comparing the two — Dubsado forms are the clear winner.

I personally love Dubsado forms because they are incredibly versatile and customizable. It helps me create forms, from client intake and contracts to payments and feedback. With Dubsado, I have created beautiful, professional, branded forms for my clients. Plus, Dubsado’s forms are easy to set up and integrate seamlessly with my existing workflows.

HoneyBook’s Smart Files, on the other hand, are limited in their functionality and can be a bit clunky to use. While they offer some basic form creation features, they don’t come close to the customization options available with Dubsado. And while HoneyBook may be slightly cheaper, you get what you pay for — a less robust tool that doesn’t offer the same level of flexibility and control.

If you want a powerful, flexible, and easy-to-use tool for creating forms and managing your business operations, Dubsado is a clear choice. With Dubsado, you can create custom forms that match your brand, streamline your workflows, and deliver a top-notch client experience.

Dubsado vs. HoneyBook: Integrations

Now, let me share some cool things about HoneyBook and Dubsado integrations. With HoneyBook, you can collaborate with other creators, which is awesome! For instance, if you work on YouTube projects, you can easily collaborate with others and share forms and other tools within the HoneyBook platform.

On the downside, HoneyBook is only available in the US and Canada. However, you can use Dubsado anywhere in the world as long as you accept payment methods like Stripe, Square, and PayPal. With HoneyBook, you can directly connect your bank account, so there’s no need to go through any external payment processors. Sleek!

Another cool thing about HoneyBook is its QuickBooks integration, which allows you to sync all your payments with QuickBooks if you already use it. Dubsado also has a few integrations like QuickBooks, Xero, Conferencing platforms, and Zapier.

Dubsado vs. HoneyBook: Workflows

Now, here’s my favorite part. Dubsado shines when it comes to automated workflows! While HoneyBook has improved in this area, Dubsado’s workflows are still top-notch. That’s what made me fall in love with this tool.

What I love about Dubsado is that you can set up different actions without lifting a finger — everything is listed under the Workflow Action dropdown. I can customize the status, add tags, send emails or forms, and even send invoices and contracts!

But that’s not all. I can pause workflows or hold actions until the client or I take action. Plus, I can start a different workflow based on triggers like project completion or a form being submitted. This is incredibly helpful! And if I need to send a reminder, I can automatically set it up to send emails after a certain period.

I have tested many client management software options, but Dubsado is the best when it comes to sustainability. HoneyBook may have the basic things you need in its workflow section, but those won’t be sustainable in the long run if you want to upscale your business. Dubsado does it best for me, and it can do more for you.
